The sight of a 3D dinosaur bursting through the pavement in Kensington was enough to inspire passers-by to jump in for a quick snap.
getwestlondon reported how the amazing piece of street art had popped up outside South Kensington Tube station on May 26 to promote the imminent opening of a new estate agents and property consultant.
Strutt and Parker is extending its network in the borough by opening its new branch in Old Brompton Road on June 1.
The company, which helped raise money for a church in Parsons Green in 2013, was encouraging members of the public to stop and pose beside the dinosaur before posting their photos on social media.
It is offering a prize for the best selfie taken with the beast and uploaded to Twitter using the hashtag #dinoselfie and tagged with @struttandparker.
Teetering on the edge of disaster
The best selfie taken and submitted by May 29 will win a Fortnum & Mason hamper worth £250.
The winner will be announced on June 1.
Charlie Willis, head of London residentials at the company said: “The day went really well. There were lots and lots of people on Instagram and especially Twitter talking about it so we are really pleased.”
