A top-end eaterie in Brent offers some of the cheapest but most delicious Michelin starred food in the UK.

Parlour, based on Regent Street in Kensal Green, was awarded a place in the 2016 Michelin star guide, with some dishes as little as £10 according to the book.

Describing the restaurant, the Michelin guide referred to it as "A fun, warmly run and slightly quirky neighbourhood hangout.

"The menu is a wonderfully unabashed mix of tradition, originality and reinvention.

"Don't miss the cow pie which even Dan, however Desperate, would struggle to finish."

Dishes include seasonal specials such as pork fillet, paper baked pollock or raw vegetable ravioli with goats cheese.

The cheapest Michelin starred restaurant in the UK is Barrafina in Westminster where diners can eat for as little as £11.

A tapas restaurant with Nieves Barragán Mohacho as head chef, the popular spot does authentic Spanish dishes at a steal of a price.

At the other end of the scale, visitors to the two-starred Araki in central London have to cough up £300 per head to dine on fine sushi.

Originally a three Michelin star restaurant in Tokyo, chef Mitsuhiro Araki shut the shop and decided to pursue his food ventures in London.


The Michelin Guide 2016 features 2,031 restaurants in the UK, of which 135 have a bib gourmand award and 156 have at least one Michelin star.

Of these 2,031 restaurants, 359 are located in west London.

Three restaurants in the UK have three Michelin Stars - the highest accolade available - Gordon Ramsay (£65-110), Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester (£60-£95) and The Waterside Inn (£62-£167).
