‪Police in Hounslow are appealing for information after a charity clothing bank was set alight on Tuesday morning (October 3).

London Fire Brigade were called at 12.05am to reports of rubbish alight in Barrack Road at the junction with Staines Road in Hounslow.

A spokesman for the Brigade said upon arrival they found a "bag of clothes alight".

One fire engine attended from Heston Fire Station and the fire was extinguished by 12.20am.

Launching an appeal on Wednesday (October 4), Hounslow Police said: "On Tuesday 3rd Oct at Staines Rd Junction with Barrack Rd Police were called by the London Fire Brigade when a charity clothing bank was set alight.
