Police are searching for a man and a woman after seriously assaulting victims on Hillingdon buses, one of which left a victim unconscious.

Officers from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command have released CCTV images to identify a man and a woman following two separate serious assaults.

A 34-year-old man was repeatedly punched while travelling on a Route N207 bus on Uxbridge Road towards Hayes , leaving him unconscious and with limited vision for weeks after the incident, in the early hours of October 4, 2015.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged between 20 and 25 years, of slim build, with short curly hair and a scruffy beard.

The suspect fled before police arrived. The London Ambulance Service attended and the victim was taken to Ealing Hospital for treatment. He was discharged later that day.

In a separate incident on the same day, a 35-year-old woman was attacked by a teenage girl at around 1:40pm, on a Route 427 bus travelling towards Hayes.

The suspect boarded with a group of people at Hillingdon Hill and began to argue with the driver.

The victim complained about the suspect holding up the bus, at which point the suspect grabbed the victim's hair and punched her in the head.

Fellow passengers intervened and restrained the girl whilst the victim got off the bus. As she made her way to a nearby pub, to take refuge, she was followed by the group and the same girl threw a bottle at her, causing a cut to her face.

The London Ambulance Service attended and the woman was taken to Hillingdon Hospital , where her wound was stitched. She was released later that day.

The suspect is described as a white girl, aged between 13 and 15 years, with long blonde hair. She was wearing a black top and grey trousers.

The incidents are not linked.
