A CCTV image has been released of a man British Transport Police (BTP) would like to speak to in connection with a robbery at Shepherd's Bush tube station.

A man was threatened with a sharp object at the Central Line tube station and told to hand over his Rolex watch worth thousands of pounds.

The victim was approached while he was stood at a ticket machine inside the London Underground station where he was robbed of the valuable item at around 2am on Sunday, October 16.

BTP are appealing for information and witnesses to come forward to assist with their enquiries following the robbery.

Investigating PC Peter Taylor said: “I am keen to speak anyone who was at the station at the time of the incident or anyone who may have witnessed the robbery.

"I am particularly interested in speaking with the man in the CCTV image as I believe he holds vital information to this investigation.”
