A video has been released showing a safe containing jewellery worth £150,000 being taken from a house.
It has been released by police investigating the theft from a property in Welbeck Street, Marylebone , on December 30 last year.
The video captures three people in the communal entrance of the building at around 8.10pm.
It is believed the storage unit was taken to a waiting car outside the property and driven away.
Police say a Renault Scenic occupied by three men parked outside the address, in Westminster, at 6.45pm that night.
Two men got out of the car and made their way towards Welbeck Street. A third man got out soon after, appearing to inspect the front passenger wheel.
He then got back in, reversing the vehicle up onto the pavement, and drove in the direction of Welbeck Street at around 8pm.
Thieves broke into the rear of the home, ransacking the property and stealing the safe from the rear of a cupboard in the master bedroom.
Soon after the CCTV footage shows two men seen struggling to lift the safe out of the building and into the waiting vehicle, which then made off at speed.
The first suspect is described as aged approximately 35-40, of slim build, with a black moustache. He was wearing a grey hat, dark jacket and blue gloves.
Suspect two is around the same age and of larger build. He was wearing a blue hat with a distinctive white bobble and a dark jacket.
The third suspect is approximately 30-35 year and of slim build. He was wearing a grey cap, with a blue scarf and grey/ khaki coloured hoody.
Detective Constable Stephen Bourne, of Westminster’s Serious Crime Team , said: “Burglary is a crime that can have a huge impact on a person’s life.
“We are asking the public to help us identify these three men so we can bring them to justice.”
