This dramatic image shows a car wedged near the basement of a building following a crash in Belgravia.

It happened at Lyall Street, Westminster on Sunday (March 5) after a collision between two cars, which saw one of the vehicles end up in the precarious position.

None of the eight people in the two cars were trapped, but two men, two women and a child were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service with minor injuries.

The brigade was called at 6.27pm and the incident was over by 7.50pm.

Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit from Chelsea and Kensington fire stations attended the scene, making sure the scene was safe.

Met police removed the wedged car.
