A car burst into flames after it collided with a wall on Kenton Road in Harrow this morning (June 15) just before 5am.

Police were called to the scene along with the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade and found the driver and three passengers.

All four occupants of the car were out of the vehicle when the emergency services arrived and have all been taken to a north London hospital by the ambulance service.

The car was alight after crashing into a wall on the Northwick Park Roundabout

Police said the driver's condition was 'critical' after he was taken to hospital.

The passenger's injuries are not thought to be life threatening but the emergency services are still awaiting an update on the driver's condition.

Officers are still on the scene and are continuing their enquiries, while Road closures are in place at Peterborough Road, Kenton Road and Watford Road as a result of the accident.

Police have since issued an appeal for witnesses as they search in particular for a man seen filming the aftermath of the crash.

In April, an ambulance was seen on fire in Harrow, which required two firefighter crews to put it out.
