A cannabis factory was discovered by police at a property in Hillingdon after tenants fled the home.

Hillingdon Police said it received a call from an estate agent about tenants not paying their rent at a home in Yiewsley.

Officers arrived and discovered a cannabis factory.

No arrests have been made at this stage, police added.

In a messaged posted on Facebook on Friday (April 14), Hillingdon Police said: "Cannabis factory found and dealt with.

"We received a call from an estate agents who had gone to an address due to the tenants not paying their rent.

"Normally if people don't pay and decide to 'do a runner' they would leave a bag of clothes, one dirty plate and trainer with the laces missing but not these horticulturalists.

"If you would like your Tie Dye t-shirt and mock Royal Doulton plate back give us a call, we can even pick you up if you like."
