This shocking video footage has captured the moment a double decker bus had burst into flames outside a railway station.

Smoke was seen billowing out of a 113 route bus in the busy Finchley Road on Sunday (August 13) evening.

The scene was filmed, by Twitter user Alex Hoods, as flames burst out from underneath the bus, which had stopped outside Finchley Road and Frogal station in Camden.

A man could be seen desperately trying to extinguish the flames before the fire brigade had arrived.

London Fire Brigade sent two fire engines to tackle the blaze but Transport for London (TfL) do not yet know the reason for the fire.

A spokesman for TfL said: "There were no injuries sustained by the passengers or driver and investigations as to the cause of the incident are under way."
