A woman has been charged with being drunk and disorderly after allegedly trying to climb the gates of Buckingham Palace.
Metropolitan Police arrested 35-year-old Jessica Davey on Saturday afternoon (October 7) at around 5.40pm.
Ms Davey, of Ilbert Street, Queen's Park, did not access the palace grounds.
She was detained and taken to a central London police station , then on Sunday evening charged with being drunk and disorderly contrary to Section 91(1) Criminal Justice Act 1967.
She will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday (October 9).
The incident was not treated as terrorist-related.
