M4 traffic jams at Heston Services caused by broken down van in rush hour

A broken down van is causing heavy traffic on the M4 elevated section eastbound into town.

The incident has led to one lane being blocked just before the A4 at the Chiswick Roundabout.

There are reports of congestion all the way to Heston Services located between junctions 2 and 3 on the motorway.

Motorists are warned delays are reported to be around 20 minutes at least if travelling to the area this morning (Friday, November 4).

According to Highways England traffic conditions should return to normal within the hour.

On Thursday (November 3) afternoon, the A4 Great West Road was blocked due to a road traffic collision at the junction of Syon Lane and the Gillette Corner.
