The body of a man has been found in the front garden of a residential road in Hammersmith .

The discovery in Agate Road was made on Thursday (June 19) morning, with police called just before 7.30am.

Officers attended and found the body of a male, believed to be in his 40s.

The death is being treated as unexplained at this time, with police from Hammersmith and Fulham carrying out enquiries.

Officers from the borough tweeted at around 8.30am: “We are dealing with an incident on Agate Road in W6. Please follow the instructions of officers on scene.”

Scotland Yard say the body has not yet been identified, with police still at the scene as midday approached on Thursday.
