A witness has recalled the aftermath of the Queen's Park stabbing on Wednesday (April 20).

The Twitter user detailed 'blood on the pavement' after police found a man with multiple stab wounds to his arms and legs in the early hours of the morning.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to the area on Harrow Road, near the junction with third avenue after a car was in collision with a lamppost.

When arriving at the scene, police found the driver of the car, a 23-year-old man, sitting on the pavement with stab wounds to his legs and arms.

London Ambulance Service treated the man for his injuries before he was taken to a central London hospital where his injuries are describes as not serious.

According to Met Police, witnesses reported seeing a black car parked in the middle of the road, which drove off before police arrived.

Twitter user @relief_organist told getwestlondon , “I drove past 8:10am, only saw aftermath of whatever happened. There was quite a lot of blood, police were already there.”

It occurred less than three hours after another man, aged 21, was taken to hospital in a serious condition after he was stabbed while sitting in a car in nearby St Helens Gardens.

Following the Queen's Park stabbing there was yet another violent incident as a teenager was shot nearby in Notting Hill on Wednesday (April 20).

Police say that no arrests have been made and are asking for anyone with any information to come forward.
