A Hayes -based biker club has raised £10,000 for a brain injury charity, which is the single largest donation the group has ever had.

The West London Harley Riders spend four years organising a five-day party for over 6,000 Harley-Davidson riders.

Money raised from the event was donated to Headway North West London, which offers specialist services for local people affected by traumatic brain injuries.

The biker group have been support Headway for around 17 years by hosting parties, bike shows and rallies.

President of the West London Harley Riders, Catweasle, said: “We are very proud of all our members, friends, and families, without whom it would not have been possible.”

The Federation of Harley-Davidson Clubs of Europe Super Rally was held in Lincoln in 2015 and saw 35-bands perform with beer and food for all attendees.

The Harley riders also raised £4,000 for the National Youthbike organisation, which is an educational charity that gets young people involved in building bikes.
