Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Bedfont.

The men, aged 19, 20, and 26 were arrested on Wednesday June 17 and taken into custody, police said.

A fourth man was also arrested for assisting an offender.

The arrests are in connection with a stabbing outside the Emerald Supermarket in Staines Road.

The 29-year-old victim remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Acting inspector Nigel Treacy, of Feltham safer neighbourhood team, said: "We are now in a position to say that both parties involved the, suspects and victim had no ties to the community of Bedfont.

"The investigating team have made a number of arrests and the males involved are still in custody.

"The area has had increased patrols since the incident and we will continue to monitor any developments.

Enquiries by the Homicide and Major Crime Demand team continue.
