A man accused of spending nearly £50,000 on cloned credit cards has appeared in court.

Mahyar Bahamani, of Larch Crescent, Yeading, previously denied 25 charges of fraud by false representation at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

He appeared at Southwark Crown Court for a case management hearing on July 16.

The 28-year-old is alleged to have committed a string of frauds, worth £49,143, over a six-month period between April and September last year.

The case was adjourned until October 1 for a plea and case management hearing, with Bahamani granted conditional bail.
