A young autistic man who had his McDonald's burger and milkshake snatched from him has prompted a police appeal.

The 23-year-old victim was walking through Holborn Underground station when a second man also grabbed his Beats headphones.

British Transport Police (BTP) has released CCTV images of two men it would like to speak to in connection with the incident as they may have information that can assist the investigation.

Can you help BTP identify the man in this picture?

On Sunday (March 19) at around 2.30am the victim was stopped and demanded to hand over his food, the police said.

On refusing, a second man appeared using threatening behaviour.

They then stole the meal and headphones and made off on in the direction of an Eastbound central line train.

BTP investigating officer, PC Suzanne Canning, said: “Fortunately the victim was not injured, but he is still very much shaken by the incident and has not travelled on the Tube since as he feels too vulnerable.

“I would like to speak to the men shown in the CCTV images as they may have information which could help with the investigation."

Anyone who recognises the men should call 0800 40 50 40 or send a text message to 61016, quoting reference number 366 05/04/ 2017.
