Stormy weather is about to batter west London as heavy downpours head for the south east.
Showers are forecast to develop over the weekend, with conditions looking to improve by the middle of next week.
However the brighter spells and dry conditions could be short-lived if the Atlantic storm hits the south east.
The Atlantic Superstorm is yet to be named as it's still too far away for the Met Office to accurately predict if it will reach us.
Looking ahead to the weekend, hail and thunder is predicted for the south on Saturday (August 5), gradually easing later in the day with some sunny spells in places.
Sunday (August 6) will get off to a bright start before rain hits the north and spreads southeastwards through Monday (August 7), turning showery later.
Sunshine and heavy showers are predicted for Tuesday (August 8).
So, it might be an absolute washout, but there is still plenty to keep yourself occupied with in London.
