A woman has been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm following an attack on the son of Kensington MP Victoria Borwick.

The 32-year-old was arrested on Monday (July 13) and bailed to a date in September pending further inquiries.

It followed an alleged attack on 27-year-old Tom Borwick and his girlfriend, in Leicester Square, at around 10pm on June 27.

Ms Borwick's aide said it would be inappropriate for the MP to comment as the incident was now a police matter.
