In September, anti-social behaviour (ASB) topped the list for the most reported crime in Hounslow, with a total of 650 ASB crimes recorded across the borough.
In just 30 days, 2,600 crimes were reported in Hounslow, ranging from violence and sexual offences, criminal damage, arson and robbery.
Violence and sexual offences were the second most recorded among all of the crimes, a total of 551, which is more than 18 every day.
The most number of crimes were reported in Hounslow Town Centre, a total 263, 47 of them ASB.
It is violence and sexual offences which top the list in Hounslow Town Centre for September, 65 in total over a period of just 30 days, which is more than one a day.
Shoplifting is also a big issue in the town centre, 50 incidents were recorded in September, with eight incidents of theft from a person being reported.
In a bid to reduce this type of crime in the area, Hounslow businesses are being encouraged to work with the police and council in the Safer Business Hounslow initiative.
Hounslow's shopping centres, the Treaty Centre, Blenheim Centre and The Centre Feltham, are already a part of the scheme which encourages retailers to share information over a closed radio system, alongside reporting incidents on a mobile app.
Chair of Safer Business Hounslow and Treaty Centre manager, Janet Leatherland, said: "The more businesses that join up, the more positive results we will see.
"This will benefit Hounslow and our local community."
Hounslow West is the area with the second highest number of recorded crimes in September.
A total of 159 incidents were reported, 37 of them violence and sexual offence related, shortly followed by ASB, with 24 crimes recorded.
ASB is a particular problem for areas such as Hounslow Heath, Hanworth and Syon, with 37, 35 and 36 crimes recorded respectively.
There were only 67 crimes recorded in Hounslow South during September, and 95 recorded in Chiswick Riverside.
Of these crimes, burglary and ASB topped the list in Hounslow South with 14 incidents reported for each crime, and vehicle crime was the most common in the Chiswick Riverside ward, a total of 19 offences being recorded.
