No arrests have been made more than 12 hours after two teenagers were stabbed in Acton .

The two incidents happened around 6.30pm , and the Metropolitan Police believe they are linked.

The teens were taken to hospital following the incidents on Tuesday August 15.

Police were called to reports of a 17-year-old male being stabbed in Berrymead Gardens at around 6.30pm.

Shortly after, officers responded to reports of a second 17-year-old with a stab wound in Goldsmith Road, which is near to Acton Central railway station.

A spokesman from Ealing Police said at the time: "Ealing officers are on scene and currently investigating the matter, the incidents are believed to be connected.

"Both males were located and received treatment from the London Ambulance Service before being transported to hospitals.

"Neither male is considered to have life threatening injuries at this time.

"While officers investigate there may be crime scenes that affect the local community.

"Please be patient while we investigate."

Posting to Twitter at 7pm, Ealing Police asked members of the public to avoid the area around Acton Park and Acton Central station.

On Wednesday August 16, the police confirmed there had not yet been any arrests.

Ealing Police is urging anyone with information relating to the incident to call police on 101.
