The number of road accidents involving heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) increased in west London last year.
According to road safety figures from the Department for Transport, there was a 10% surge in the area, which was in stark contrast with a national decline of 6%.
In total there were 226 accidents involving HGVs in west London in 2015, compared with 205 in 2014.
Meanwhile accidents involving vans and lorries across west London fell last year by 5.7% to 918, in which 1,105 people were injured and 15 people killed.
Across Britain, there were 20,916 road accidents involving vans and lorries in 2015, down by 1.3% compared to 21,182 in 2014.
However, the number of fatal accidents increased by 10% from 438 to 480.
