Firefighters attended a car fire on the A40 Western Avenue on Thursday morning (November 2).
Crews were called at 7.07am and are still at the scene, according to London Fire Brigade.
An image on social media showed emergency services at the scene and traffic building.
Transport for London (TfL) said the incident is at the approach to Polish War Memorial, and is warning drivers to expect delays.
There are also reports that the carriageway has been reduced to one lane.
There were major delays near the same spot earlier this week after a bonfire got out of control .
