The A40 has been affected by multiple incidents on Wednesday (October 4).
The first, just before lunchtime, involved two lorries in the A40 Hanger Lane Tunnel junction with Hanger Lane.
Later, there was another incident forcing lane closures and affecting traffic.

Traffic returns to normal
Traffic is now returning to normal for the time of the day following a collision in Western Avenue.
The incident at Alperton Lane was the third to happen on the stretch of road on Wednesday.
Queues have returned to normal levels.
Traffic is slow
All lanes re-opened following a collision in Western Avenue.
However traffic is reported to be slow through the Hangar Lane Tunnel.
There are also tailbacks beyond Old Oak Road.

TfL posted an image of the traffic at the scene of a collision in Western Avenue near Alperton Lane at around 2.45pm.
The accident appears to be in a similar location to one just under two hours ago.
Another A40 collision
It appears there has been another accident on the A40.
According to TfL, there has been a collision at A40 Western Avenue westbound at Alperton Lane.
The incident has led to lanes three and two blocked due to the crash.
Traffic is reported to be slow in the area with queues down to Mansfield Road.
Traffic easing
Following two accidents on the A40 Western Avenue traffic is returning to normal.
All lanes are now open after two collision were reported.
The accident on the A40 near Hanger Lane has been cleared and traffic is easing.
Meanwhile the accident near Alperton Lane has been cleared and traffic is returning to normal.
All lanes re-opened
All lanes have re-opened following an earlier collision on the A40 Western Avenue.
The accident has been cleared westbound at the junction with Alperton Lane.
Traffic is returning to normal.
Seek alternative routes
Police in Ealing are warning motorists of traffic in on the A40.
Delays are expected following an accident at Western Avenue / Alperton Lane.
Officers are urging drivers to find alternative routes and avoid the area where possible.
Second collision on A40
There are lane closures and slow traffic due to an accident involving a lorry and a car in Western Avenue westbound at Alperton Lane / Rydal Crescent (Hoover Building).
All lanes now open
All lanes are now open following an earlier collision on the A40.
Motorists are warned traffic continues to remain slow in the area.
The lorries have been recovered/moved on and all lanes opened as a result.
Two lorry collision
Two lorries involved in a collision on the A40 Western Avenue just before A406 Hanger Lane Gyratory (North Circular Road) has caused congestion in the area.
One lane has been blocked as the vehicles have been repositioned to lane one of the exit slip road.
Traffic is slow-moving in the area with congestion to Greenford Road.
