Both children involved in a crash with a lorry on the A4 Great West Road were local school pupils.
A boy, aged 14, was rushed to hospital by air ambulance with severe head injuries, and a girl was taken in an ambulance by road to hospital, on Wednesday (September 13).
The two children said to be "making a satisfactory recovery" are students at Lampton School in Lampton Avenue, Hounslow.
Headteacher Stephen Davis told getwestlondon : "We have confirmation that both pupils are making a satisfactory recovery."

Emergency services were called to a collision after two pedestrians were hit by a lorry on the busy A4 Great West Road at 3.30pm.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman told getwestlondon that the boy is now believed to be in a non life-threatening condition at an east London hospital.
Road closures were in place for several hours between Heston Road and Sutton Lane, while emergency services responded.
Investigation works continued to take place, with the Great West Road only fully reopening at around 8.30pm.
