A 21-year-old cyclist has died after he was involved in a collision with a HGV outside Knightsbridge station on Monday (October 31).

Metropolitan Police officers were called to the Brompton Road junction with Knightsbridge shortly before 12.40pm to reports of a collision between the male cyclist and a lorry.

Sadly the cyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene at around 1.15pm.

His next of kin have not yet been informed and formal identification awaits.

Police say a post-mortem will be scheduled in due course.

Officers remained on the scene more than two hours after the collision.
