A group of people have admitted charges following a protest near Heathrow Airport.

A total of 12 people pleaded guilty to wilful obstruction of the highway following a demonstration near the to the M4 Spur Road at the airport on November 19 this year.

Appearing at Ealing Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 22, the following admitted to the offence:

  • 24-year-old Madeleine Allis-Petersen of Ealing, London.
  • 44-year-old Simon Bramwell of Stroud, Gloucestershire.
  • Ian Bray, 49 of Kirklees, West Yorkshire.
  • 53-year-old Graham Lewis of Wells, Somerset.
  • Thomas Harford, 26, from Bristol, Avon.
  • Sibi Moore, 21 from Sidmouth, Devon.
  • 25-year-old Antoine Thalmann of Oxford.
  • Henry Owen, 24 of Oxford.
  • 28-year-old Joanne Louise Bodimeade, of Lambeth, London.
  • Tess Lotter, 30 of Camden, London.
  • Alexis Delage, 25 of Lewisham, London.
  • 29-year-old Tom Venner-Woodcock, 29 of Southwark, London.

Each will have to pay costs of £85 plus an additional charge of £20.

They have also received a conditional discharge for 12 months.

Isabelle Anderson, 30, from Stratford in London, 28-year-old Sophia Lysaczanko of Haringey in London and 67-year-old Margaret Chamley from Bristol denied the offence.

The trio are due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on February 6 and 7 next year.
