Supermarkets and retailers will give full refunds following a product recall on a dairy-free yoghurt which contains dairy.

Tesco , Sainsbury's , Waitrose and other stores will give full refunds to anyone who has bought Co Yo non-dairy coconut yoghurt after product tests showed it contained traces of dairy.

The Food Standards Agency announced the recall on Tuesday (February 20) while London-based Co Yo announced the discovery on Twitter and have "terminated" their relationship with the third-party supplier involved.

The tweet read: "We are so devastated to say traces of dairy has been found in our CO YO products.

"If you have any Co Yo products with a Use By date earlier than the 16.03.18 please contact your store for a full refund.

"We are here to answer any questions and are so sorry for the inconvenience."

The Co yo products are being recalled due to an ingredient supplied that has been found to contain trace amounts of dairy.

The following use-by dates only are affected. Any products beyond these dates are tested and safe to consume.

Product: All flavours

Use by dates: February 23, March 2, March 9 and March 16

Reason: Ingredient supplied contains dairy

You can return all packs to your retailer for a full refund.
