A number of high street retailers and food brands are pulling products off the shelves, because they could pose a safety risk to consumers.

Stores such as Mothercare and Smyths Toys are recalling cribs and racing tracks, while Quorn is recalling a batch of its Tikka Masala frozen meals.

Mothercare

Mothercare is recalling its Hyde Crib due to the risk of injury. There is a safety issue that the base may detach from the frame.

The recall includes a small batch of cribs sold between January - November 2017. To find out if your crib is included in the recall, check the batch code which can be found on the crib base.

If your crib is affected stop using it immediately and return it to your nearest Mothercare store, where a full refund will be given.

Quorn

Quorn is recalling its Chilled Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice because it may contain pieces of flexible rubber. This means it is unsafe to eat as it poses a safety risk.

If you have bought it, do not eat it and instead return to the store you have bought it from.

Use-by dates: 1 March 2018, 2 March 2018 and 3 March 2018

Smyths Toys

The toy store is recalling its Furious Challenger Road Racing Set because there have been several incidents involving the plug and/or charger.

No injuries have been reported. The batch involved in the recall was in stores from August, 7 2017.

The affected batch number is 1706, it can be found on the packaging, as well as on the track.
