Toy manufacturer Shatchi is recalling a batch of its 'Finger Monkey' range due to a chemical risk.

A statement on the Trading Standard website read: "The orange monkey and multicoloured monkey contain di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured value: 24.3% and 16.1% by weight respectively).

"This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system.

"The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation."
