A teenager has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed in West Ealing .

The victim, who police believe to be 18, suffered wounds following the incident on Uxbridge Road on Thursday (August 10).

Police were called to the scene at around 3.20pm to reports of a stabbing and attended along with London Ambulance Service .

He was taken to hospital by paramedics with injuries not thought to be life threatening.

Scotland Yard say inquiries are being carried out and there have been no arrests.

It comes just a day after a man in his 20s was left in a serious but stable condition after a stabbing in Covent Garden .

It happened on Wednesday (August 9) at around 2.20pm in Brydges Place.

As a result, extra police patrols are taking place in the area to reassure members of the public.
