Police are looking for a taxi driver who could help in an investigation into the sexual assault of a woman.
The 28-year-old white victim reported being assaulted after travelling in a black cab with a white man from exclusive restaurant Mews of Mayfair, in New Bond Street, to Prince of Wales Drive, near Battersea Park on Saturday (July 19) between 1am and 3:45am.
Police would like to locate the taxi driver as he may be able to help police with the ongoing investigation.
The woman was wearing a blue and white patterned dress with a belt, and the man travelling with her was wearing a suit.
Detectives from the Sexual Offences Exploitation and Child ABuse Command are investigating.
DC Ben Hawkins, said: "We are very keen to hear from the taxi driver who picked up a white man and woman from Mews of Mayfair, New Bond Street in the early hours on Saturday, 19 July and dropped them off near Battersea Park, SW11."
The driver, or anyone with any information, who could assist the investigation is asked to contact DC Hawkins who is leading the investigation on 020 8649 0424 or 07789 935492.
A 31-year-old man from Kensington and Chelsea has been arrested in connection with the investigation. He has been bailed to return on a date in September pending further enquiries.
The incident comes after a string of separate sexual offences across Earls Court, Hammersmith and Chelsea.
