RESIDENT have been invited to have a say on the future of the fire brigade in Ealing and Hounslow.

The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority is consulting on its three-year safety plan.

It will include plans to cut £28.8million, including closing 12 fire stations, removing 18 fire engines, relocating four fire engines and reducing firefighter posts by 520 while keeping response time targets.

A two-hour public meeting will be held in Ealing Town Hall, Ealing Broadway, at 7pm on Monday. Visit www.london-fire.gov.uk/LSP5.asp to fill in the consultation.
