HAREFIELD'S police sergeant says he will pursue criminal action against youngsters found to be throwing snowballs at cars during the cold weather.

Last week, starting on Thursday (December 2), teenagers gathered on the Village Green to pelt passing cars with snowballs and ice.

Sergeant Alan Moore, of Harefield Police, said: "It was going on last week and all weekend. They have moved back to throwing eggs too.

"It is the parents who are responsible, you have to ask, do they know what their kids are doing?

"The kids need to be identified and we will deal with them.

"We want people to call us whenever they see them throwing snowballs at cars."
