YOUNGSTERS tackled an inflatable assault course and went to battle during a laser shooting contest in Bishops Park at the weekend.

The family fun day was held in aid of Fulham-based military charity The Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation on Saturday.

Members of London Fire Brigade Fulham Red Watch and Territorial Army W Squadron Royal Yeomanry also parked vehicles and put on demonstrations for visitors.

Jennifer Shannon, of the foundation, said: "The day was a great success. We probably had a few hundred people popping in during the whole day which was great.

"The youngsters loved the assault course and all the other activities and there was fun had all around."
