It's been four days now with no news or updates from police investigating the disappearance of Brentside High School pupil, Alice Gross.

The vulnerable teenager, who was suffering from anorexia at the time of her disappearance, has now been missing for over two weeks.

As police continue to search the Grand Union Canal between Hanwell and Boston Manor where she was last seen on CCTV, the Hanwell community have covered the area in yellow ribbons and posters.

Alice's friends, family and indeed the borough of Ealing continue to hope that she will be found safe and well as police continue to class the investigation as a missing persons enquiry.

The hope is that with the continued reminder that there is still a missing young girl in the area people will be more vigilant and aware of any signs or clues that may lead to bringing Alice home.

The last update from police was last Thursday when they released information confirming the contents of her rucksack.

The bag was found by police on September 2  in the undergrowth on the footpath that runs beside the River Brent between Hanwell Bridge and the Grand Union Canal.

Inside there were the pair of Vans trainers she was believed to be wearing when she left home on August 28, underwear, her lunch box and the rubbish from her lunch.
