Singers, dancers and rappers competed in a jam-packed talent show.

More than 30 children, aged six to 11, of Wendell Park Primary School battled it out on stage at the Shepherd’s Bush school’s The W Factor on Friday last week.

Judges included actress Nicola Grier, rapper Jay Osanyingbemi, singer-songwriter Maddy Carter and teacher Ben Caron-Dawe.

Susannah Woodgate, of the school’s PTA, said: “Thirty-two performers were selected from the fiercely fought auditions. Thanks to the inspirational efforts of teacher Lianne Stanford, the children were glowing with confidence and gave the night their best.”

Siobhan Callender was the overall winner with her punchy performance of Little Mix’s hit song Move. Tevisha Ferron, Shannay Bunting Hunte, Antonia Francis and Jadien Campbell won the best group with their Pretty Girl Rock dance act.

Marko Lumi won the best individual act for a stunning Spanish guitar performance and Grace Murphy won best original act with her song and drum piece.
