Woman injured on Piccadilly train led to delays

THERE were severe delays on the Piccadilly line on Wednesday after a woman was injured in a fall on a train.

THERE were severe delays on the Piccadilly line on Wednesday after a woman was injured in a fall on a train.

An ambulance crew was called to North Ealing tube station at about 2.40pm. There were heavy delays between Acton and Uxbridge Road before normal service was resumed at about 4pm.

The woman was treated on site before being taken to Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal.
