Woman in hospital after mugging attack

The 28-year-old woman was attacked by two men and had her handbag stolen

A woman has been hospitalised following a mugging where she was punched in the head.

The 28-year-old victim remains in a serious but stable condition.

She was attacked in Eynham Road, Shepherd’s Bush, at about 8pm yesterday (Feb 05).

Two men approached her from behind, one of them punched her in the head, and they stole her handbag.

Police are appealing for witnesses to help trace the suspects described as white men, aged 20 to 25. Both were around 5ft 10in and wearing beanie hats.

Officers from Hammersmith and Fulham’s CID are investigating.
