Detectives are continuing to appeal for information following the murder of a 33-year-old woman on Saturday (March 28).

Detectives and Officers from Hammersmith and Fulham were in the Landridge Road area yesterday (April 4), appealing for witnesses in connection with the murder of Vanessa Santillan.

Police launched a murder investigation after officers were called to the area at around 9.30pm on Saturday to the body of a woman found at a flat in Romily Court.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, with preliminary cause of death as injuries to the head and neck.

Detective Chief Inspector Rebecca Reeves, leading the investigation, said: "We want to speak to anyone who saw Vanessa on Friday or Saturday. We need to know why this has happened and we want help from anyone who knew her while she was in London."

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the investigation and has been bailed to return on a date in late May pending further enquiries.
