The woman who died in a fatal crash in Hanworth has been named as Flora Kharwa of Hounslow.

A shrine was dedicated in memory of the 40-year-old of Kingsley Avenue, Hounslow, by her grief-stricken husband and nine-year-old daughter, following her death on October 10.

Flora was with her little girl hit on a zebra crossing on Hampton Road West, near the junction with Apex Corner, on October 3 at about 7.15pm. Her daughter survived.

Family and friends have paid tribute on her Facebook page offering their condolences and deepest sympathies following a photo and post from her husband which reads: "Rest in peace Flora. We will always miss you. From your loving husband and family."

Jam Agrava posted: "Gone too soon. May you Rest in Peace Ate Flora.'"

Santosh Kharwa commented: "You will be remembered by my family and all loved once for ages and ages to come. Rest in Peace."

Jenny Conarco messaged: "Rest in peace flor. Always thinking about you. Missing you every day in garden. Missing your smile."

Rosemarie Margate Piano said: "Rest in peace friend...Alyssa is safe and in good hands (daddy). We will miss you."

Lyka Galicia posted: "May you rest in peace Tita."

Many of the messages had used the phrases 'ate' meaning older relative/sister and 'tita' meaning aunt in Filipino.

A post-mortem examination was carried out last Wednesday (15) but there has been no result yet.
