POLICE HAVE launched an appeal forwitnesses to a serious assault in Neasden, which left a man with a 10inch cut across the throat.

Officerswant to speak to people who saw the incident, which took place at Sal'sBar, 249 Neasden Lane, on December 29 last year at 8.50pm.

A 41-year-old man was in the pub when three men came in through the back door wearing balaclavas.

Theywere holding a claw hammer, baseball bat and knife. They approached thevictim and attacked him, resulting in a 10 inch cut across his throat.

The suspects then ran out of the back door and fled toward the footpath that leads across Neasden Lane into Dog Lane.

The London Ambulance Service attended and the victim was taken to hospital. His injuries were not life threatening.

Thefirst suspect is described as a white man, of large build, wearing ablue hoodie, black balaclava, blue Jogging trousers, black trainers andblack gloves.

The second suspect is described as a white man wearing a balaclava, white hoodie, black jacket, dark trousers and black shoes.

Suspect three is also described as a white man wearing a balaclava, blue top, light jeans and white trainers.

DetectiveConstable Zann› Kriel from the violent crime unit said: This was aserious assault that took place at a busy time.
