POLICE are looking for witnesses after a man was stabbed outside a Feltham newsagent.

The crime took place on Friday (March 11) at around 7.30pm when a 21-year-old black man was with a friend in Kash Superstore, Station Parade.

The victim walked outside the shop where he was surrounded by three Asian men, all thought to be 18-years-old.

A fight took place, which resulted in the 21-year-old man being stabbed by one of the suspects.

He walked into the shop with a stab wound to his back.

It is the second stabbing to have happened in the town centre in a month. An 18-year-old man was stabbed at the train station on February 15 in broad daylight.

Raj Sarna was working at Kash Superstore at the time of the latest incident.

He said: "He (the victim) was warned by his friend not to go outside because there was a guy with a knife, but he ignored it anyway and went outside.

"He came back in and he had been stabbed in the back. I called an ambulance. There was a customer in the shop as well and had some tissue so held it to the wound to stop the bleeding. It is a huge shock, I have worked here for six years and have never had to deal with anything like this before."

The London Ambulance Service were called to the scene just after 7.30pm, they sent a single vehicle response car and an ambulance crew.

They treated the victim at the scene before taking him to hospital. He was treated and later released.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident and are asked to contact Detective Constable Sanders at Hounslow CID on 0208 247 6219. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555111.

No arrests have been made.
