Whitton's Christmas lights will be switched on this Sunday.

Shoppers can enjoy entertainment, including children's rides, a giant slide and Jack Frost the Juggler in the High Street from noon to 5pm.

There will be more than 30 stalls, selling goods that range from jewellery and decorations to mulled wine and chestnuts, giving shoppers the chance to stock up early for Christmas.

Visitors will also be treated to live music throughout the day, with the Band of the Royal Military School of Music playing from 3.30pm. Father Christmas will switch on the lights at 4.30pm.
