Hear about what life was like for soldiers in the trenches during World War 1 from a station historian at RAF Northolt.
Sergeant Mark Bristow, stationed at the RAF base in West End Road, Ruislip, will be leading a talk at Ruislip Manor Library on September 9, followed by a coffee and cake sale to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

The library, in Linden Avenue, Ruislip Manor, is also giving guided tours of its own in-built WW1 replica trench.
There is no need to book, and the informative tours are given by library staff.
Tours take place at 11am and 3pm on Saturday, August 16, Tuesday, August 19, Saturday August 23, Thursday, August 28 and Saturday, August 30.
If you would prefer to go along one evening, guided tours will also be held on Wednesday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 27 at 6.30pm.
