Fire destroyed three quarters of a fourth floor flat in West Drayton this morning.

A fifth floor flat on fire in Park Lodge Avenue, West Drayton

Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident in Park Lodge Avenue after neighbours organised an evacuation before London Fire Brigade (LFB) arrived.

 

It is not thought anyone was in the property when the blaze began.

A crew of 35 firefighters worked to put out the blaze. It was extinguished by 11am.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.

LFB was also busy helping people affected by the dramatic flash floods this morning.
