Models sporting everything from feathered headdresses to a neon orange Silly String-style hairdo took to the catwalk at West Thames College last week.

They were showing off the creations of make-up students at the college, in London Road, Isleworth, in their end-of-year shows.

BA and HND students let their imaginations run wild for their shows, titled respectively Identity Parade and the Stage, last Monday (June 2).

Representatives from Madame Tussauds and MAC Cosmetics were in the audience to cast an eye over the body painting, handmade wigs and prosthetics which were months in the making.

Recent graduates from the course include Emmy Beech, who has since worked on the BBC's The One Show as well as commercials for the likes of Heineken and British Airways.
