Sparks flew as French dance company Bilbobasso lit up Bell Square, Hounslow, with a scintillating mix of tango and pyrotechnics last night.
A huge crowd gathered to watch their spectacular show Polar, which launched the summer programme of events at the new performance space at the western end of Hounslow High Street.
Bilbobasso are back tonight (Saturday, June 21) at 9.30pm with their show in which a mysterious young woman meets a ruthless gangster and, together with their accomplices in love and larceny, they literally burn up the dance floor.
As well as sultry dance moves and a thumping live soundtrack, the show features fire breathing, explosions and fire juggling, with those in the front row getting close enough to the action to toast marshmallows.
Here's a little taster of what you'll be missing if you don't make it along tonight to the show, brought to you by Hounslow Council and Watermans.
