GREENFORD’S Westway Cross retail park welcomed two new shops this week.

Queues greeted staff at the opening of a new TK Maxx store on Thursday, where the first 500 customers were rewarded with a £10 gift voucher to find their favourite discounted designer clothing in store.

Store manager Ish Hussain said: “We are very excited to be opening up a new store in London and bringing Greenford shoppers big savings on all their favourite brands.”

On Monday, Ealing North MP Steve Pound opened a new McDonald’s restaurant which
has been relocated to a bigger unit within the retail park in Greenford Road, creating 20 new jobs.

Staff will be some of the first in the country to don new uniforms by fashion designers Wayne and Geraldine Hemingway, of Hemingway Design.
